Threat Simplified features work from our editorial team and trusted contributors. Among them is Sp0rad1c, whose unique career path combines military discipline, technical expertise, and a deep interest in cybersecurity education and human behavior.
Sp0rad1c is a military veteran and IT professional whose fascination with digital systems began at an early age. As a teenager, he observed and occasionally participated in minor hacktivist communities during the early 2010s — experiences that sparked a lifelong curiosity about technology, ethics, and online security.
He later served in aviation within the U.S. military, developing a disciplined and systems-oriented approach that became foundational to his later technical work. After leaving active service, he worked at a global aerospace manufacturer, operating and training others on advanced robotic production systems before transitioning fully into the IT field.
His professional journey includes IT support and program development for a major U.S. port authority, where he designed tools to streamline data processes and improve system reliability. He holds an Associate’s degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Network Systems and Data Communications, and is currently pursuing an additional Bachelor’s degree in Psychology to explore how human behavior shapes cybersecurity outcomes.
“Security isn’t just technical — it’s human. Understanding both sides is the only way to truly simplify threats.”
